Took the opportunity of great weather & some free time to work on the pasture fences today. Had a few rough area from the winter that needed some attention. They're all fixed & good to go! 

Balazzo was helping me through the barn pasture work. He was good company.

Lessons for the 2014 season are in session! We had a few brave souls come out during the winter. With the nicer spring weather, we expect many more. We also have a new lesson pony for smaller riders. Her name is Gracie.

Spring time!

Busy day at The Stables. Lots of activity with riding and cleaning and enjoying the warmer spring weather. No more snow?

New Boarders

We have two new boarders at Sheridan Stables! P.C. moved in last month and Carol moved in last weekend. We're excited to be chuck full of horses! 7 horses for 7 stalls.

Riding outside is getting more tolerable as well. Should be in the 40's this weekend for a few new students on Saturday. Can't wait.

It's HOT!

Time to make our every once in a while post. We're going through some hot weather the last 10 days. Temps in the 90's with heat index in the 100's. Not too much fun!

We had some swan visitors on the pond a few weeks ago. They hung out for an hour or so.

The heat may break soon so everyone will be back out enjoying the pasture.

Barn Work

Sold the Ford tractor today. Loaded up & gone.

Moved the Sheridan horses to the pasture side stalls. Seem to be doing well.

Three new boarders moved in last night. They're going for a ride on a slightly wet arena.

Mostly sleet last night, so the snow level wasn't as bad as it could've been. That sleet made some heavy snow shoveling!

Back in from the COLD

Nom...Nom...Nom

Well, started this blog in August...and now just making second post! Things look a lot different out here now that the weather has turned on us. None of that green that was behind Brooke and Della in the previous picture. It's all white and for the most part, it's too dark to even see that!

Della and Summer took care of the pine tree in the middle of the pasture. Had to get out the hand saw last weekend and cut it down. It'll go in the first bonfire of the new year. I told them they can watch it burn from their pasture, they seemed pleased with that prospect.

We have 3 stalls now open for boarding! Full day turn out on good days for the best price in town. Drop us a line or give us a call.
